I am a California Love native that moved to Colorado in 2006. I graduated from Monrovia High School, which is in Monrovia, CA (25 min northeast of downtown L.A.). From there I continued on to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan and received my Bachelor's in Public Policy with a specialization in Economics. Once I discovered my passion for teaching and learning I pursued my Teachers Credential/Masters in Education - Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment which I fulfilled in 2012. I am currently a candidate for an additional degree, Masters in Education - Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners, from Regis University.
I keep quite busy when I'm not in the classroom as I have five children. Despite that I like to go for a jog, walk, hike on my spare time, play volleyball, or work on my gardening skills. Colorado has treated my family and I well and I am greatly appreciative of all the supportive people that encouraged me and opened doors along the way. I hope to be able to impact the lives of my students in the same manner.
