I am a California Love native that moved to Colorado a little over 9 years ago. I graduated from Monrovia High School, which is in Monrovia, CA (25 min northeast of downtown L.A.). From there I continued on to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan and received my Bachelor's in Public Policy with a specialization in Economics. Once I discovered my passion for teaching and learning I pursued my Masters in Curriclum, Instruction & Assessment which I fulfilled in 2012 from Jones International University.
I keep quite busy when I'm not in the classroom as I have five children, the oldest in college to the youngest in diapers. Despite that I like to go for a jog, walk, hike on my spare time, play volleyball, or work on my gardening skills. Colorado has treated my family and I well and I am greatly appreciative of all the supportive people that encouraged me and opened doors along the way. I hope to be able to impact the lives of my students in the same manner.
