Did you know pineapples are the new apples? I always try to teach like a pineapple, making sure to stand tall and usually with a fancy crown. I would like to think that I have a tough outer shell when needed but always remain sweet on the inside. I also truly enjoy helping kiddos become their own 'pineapples' and cherish being a witness as they grow even more amazing throughout the years. Our hard working staff, our engaged students and our fabulous families here at MCE make it even 'sweeter' to come to work everyday. I have been apart of the MCE family since 2016 and I have been teaching since 2009. I previously taught 1st grade but I absolutely love teaching 2nd grade. I obtained my Bachelors Degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver in Journalism and Public Relations. I also have Masters Degree from Regis University in Elementary Education. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, watching movies and watching my favorite football team, the Denver Broncos play in the fall. I look forward to getting to know everyone and working as a team to support our wonderful students here at MCE.
