My name is Francela Espinosa, I have been teaching for four years, all have been here at McElwain. I have a Bachelor degree in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in sociology and psychology as well as my Elementary Licensure. Prior to teaching I was a substitute teacher for three years in Adams 12. I have always enjoyed working with children, I started working at a daycare center in high school, and after I graduated I joined Americorps National Service and became a reading coach for two years at Pioneer Elementary in Lafayette. After that I started my educational career at Metropolitan University Denver.
I have four children, all have attended schools in Adams 12. I am native to Colorado and really enjoy seeing the seasons change here. I cannot imagine my life without the joy of children’s voices. I intend to continue my teaching career and look forward to each new year!
