My name is Sara Olson and I have had the privilege of being the Principal at McElwain Elementary the past two years. I am excited to embark upon my third year. This is a unique community, one that was named a Promising Partner by the Colorado Department of Education in 2022. That title acknowledged the work that we do with each one of our families and our surrounding community. We believe that academic excellence begins and ends with the relationships that we develop with each child, families, and our community. As we venture through this school year together, please do not hesitate to call or come for a visit. Our stakeholders' participation and input in this school is essential to its success. Thank you for allowing me and my team to serve this community. I cannot wait to see what 24-25 will bring!
