Kids Cafe

Swing by for a free, nutritious snack sponsored by the Food Bank of the Rockies. Available for children ages 18 and younger, while supplies last.

Papel Picado
Tuesday, October 1st 4:00pm-4:45pm
Make your own papel picado or "punched paper" by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of colorful tissue paper. Have fun learning about this traditional Mexican folk art that dates back to the Aztecs. Appropriate for ages 6 and older. Supplies are limited; registration required. Dia de los Muertos Shrines

Join Denver Botanic Gardens in a heartfelt and culturally rich art program dedicated to Dfa de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. Create "nichos" (personalized shrines) to honor and celebrate the memories of departed loved ones. Bring a 4x6 photo of a loved one whose passed (family member, pet, or favorite artist) you would like to dedicate the nicho as well as some items from home that represent your loved ones. Children's Art Program with BMoCA

Make some art with the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA)! Young artists will make something creative using lots of different art materials during this interactive workshop inspired by the artists and artwork on display at BMoCA. What will inspire you and what will you create? Appropriate for ages 5 to 12. No advanced registration necessary.

Ballet Folklorico Workshop

Sugar Calaveritas for Toddlers and Kids
