Busload of Books makes a stop in Colorado at McElwain

Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr authors of Everywhere Wonder and Ben Yokomama and the Cookie of Doom visited McElwain Elementary on Wednesday April 12th! Ms. Snider, the DLP and GT Advocate at McElwain had written the authors a letter about McElwain and how amazing of a school it is! Due to that letter, McElwain was the ONLY school in the state of Colorado that received a visit from the authors and their Busload of Books tour. While on their visit to McElwain, they were interviewed on the Drew Barrymore Show. Each student received a copy of one of the books and were able to attend an assembly and visit the Book Bus! It was an amazing day for all!
