Students lead conferences at school through empowerment
At McElwain Elementary we have student-led conferences. Throughout the year students goal set almost daily. During conferences, families hear directly from the students about where they have grown and what areas they are still working on. Goal setting requires and empowers students to take the lead in communicating their learning.
